Starting this Blog

Well, my first post on this blog. As of now I am democratic, and I believe Obama will be a better president than McCain, but I will scan the news for interesting stories on politics and try to keep an unbiased mind. Please comment.

Don't listen to Howard. I recommend visiting the sites of both candidates and asking your own questions and making a choice based on your own issues. Howard will valiantly try and get you over to McCain's side by posting his "opinion" (READ: If you don't agree, you're wrong) but doing your own research is best. I don't even suggest asking me because I will give you an Obama bias. I'm just not pushy about it.

I agree with Kristi. Although I am rooting for Barack Obama in the election, I think you should definitely try to watch for information about both the candidates, find out about their policies, and choose a side based on who YOU think is right. Don't let anyone else's ideas be pushed onto you. A tip: watch the Presidential Debate on September 26 to see Obama v.s. McCain face to face talking about their plans for America.

Why does Obama appeal to you as of now?

Amazing how much can happen when you lose your password, and can't figure out how to use password recovery for about a week.
To Howard, I say, I bet you'll become a republican presidential nominee some day, and you make very convincing arguments, but how can you say Obama is not qualified when Sarah Palin knows almost nothing about foreign policy. Obama will improve our economy. You've seen how badly its doing. McCain's plan for our economy is a bit too much like Bush's, and it'll fail.
McCain plans to prolong the Iraq war, but what will that prove?
We are wasting precious money on a pointless war.
And there, some of the reasons I support Obama.
